FRI 12/21: Darkest Day & Night

December 21st marks the shortest day of the year, and the longest night of the year. As Pacific Northwesterners, we are used to the sun hiding out. We are also fond of delicious beer. On Friday, December 21st, when we open the doors, we’ll have on a special selection of amazing dark beers to celebrate our lack of sunshine, on this darkest day & night of the year. Here’s that list:

Airways Brewing Final Departure Imperial Stout
This is the one and only keg to leave the brewery. 9.9%

2011 Lost Abbey Judgement Day Belgian Quad
Brewed with raisins, cellared 12 months. 10.5%

Lost Abbey Mayan Apocalypse Judgement Day Belgian Quad
Variation on Judgement Day, with dried chiles, cinnamon, & tamarind. 10.5%

E-9 Brewery Oral Apocalypse
A one-of-a-kind custom blend just for this event, equal parts Imperial Stout, Bourbon Barrel Strong Dark Belgian, & Rye Barrel Belgian Special Ale. 9.6%

North Coast Barrel Aged Old Rasputin XV
Bourbon Barrel aged Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout. Released once a year, extremely limited. 11.9%

Full Sail Top Sail Bourbon Barrel Porter
Brewed January 2011, aged 1 year in barrels, cellared for additional 10 months. 9.5%

2012 Deschutes The Abyss
Only 450 barrels produced. 11%

2011 Deschutes The Abyss
Only 600 barrels produced, cellared for 13 months. 11%

2011 Oskar Blues Ten Fidy Imperial Stout
Cellared 13 months. 10.5%

Deschutes Black Butte XXIV
Brewed with dark chocolate nibs, Daglet dates, & Mission figs, 25% bourbon barrel aged. 11%

All listed beers will be served in 5.5oz pours only, and no growlers. Available when we open the doors at 11am, Friday 12/21
